Visitors to Mizner Park soon will be able to hit a couple of mini-golf holes while they wait for a table at a restaurant or take a break from shopping.
Boca Raton is just about done adding a new, free putting green at the local shopping and dining hub.
There's been no opening date yet, but the grass is in and the holes are set up with flags.
Now, it's just a matter of putting up signs, filling the golf ball dispenser and finding golf clubs for people to use, said city spokeswoman Chrissy Gibson.
Last fall, the city set aside about $10,000 to put the nearly 10-foot-by-10-foot patch of putting-green near Mizner Park's central fountain at the request of Mayor Susan Haynie.
Once the equipment is put in, the greenway will be ready to use, the city said.
The community of Hamilton Place hosts 80 beautiful and luxurious homes. Each single family home provides excellent views with the majority of homes boasting a gorgeous lake view or an expansive view of Woodfield Country Club's award winning golf course.
